Description
MISSING 8/2/22 ~3 PM
Gracie is a female Great Pyrenees missing from near West Plains. Wearing a grey collar and a short leash.
Last seen a few miles down ZZ.
Her original owners raised her with sheep only, so she is very shy around people. She bolted in an unfamiliar area soon after arriving.
She will likely not come to strangers and will probably need cornered to be caught. Not usually food motivated but may be hungry and thirsty.
She is often scared by loud noises and direct eye contact and will run if startled. Speaking softly and avoiding looking at her is best to catch her. She has never shown signs of aggression to us or her previous owners, and has been gentle with people and animals of all sizes.
She may be hard to catch but any help would be greatly appreciated. She is an amazing guardian dog. Please help bring her back!
