Howdy, I'm looking for cool people who are down to join a shoegazey project I'm starting! I'm currently in the process of recording some studio versions of demos I made for an EP but I'd definitely be looking for people who can contribute to writing and the direction of the project as a whole with whatever we write next. I'm working with an amazing drummer right now to track the songs in the studio but am looking to take this project further into reality with the addition of a bassist, a singer, and another guitar player. Looking for people who work well with others, are professional and not flakey, and have an enthusiasm for music and some similar influences to us. We'd prefer people with experience performing or being in bands before but honestly if you're the right fit without ever having played live before then that's totally fine. Don't be afraid to reach out! I've got a pretty specific idea for vocals but I'm just going to keep that to myself and see what responses come in. Looking for someone who can write stuff for the demos linked below and head into the studio with us when ready to sing on top of them. About me: I'm 29 and work a 9-5 design job but can usually jam in the evenings or weekends. I play guitar and I wrote the current songs about 5 years ago, decided to go get my degree in graphic design up at UNT in Denton, TX, Came back recently and have been reviving these tracks back from the dead. I played in a couple bands here before I moved away and am itching to get back to doing that. The drummer I'm working with is a good friend and currently plays in another band in town. He's got phenomenal drumming skills and experience and is also great with picking up a guitar to help with song writing. Let us know about who you are and your background etc, what your influences are lately, and some stuff you've made in the past. Maybe even an instagram just to get a sense of your vibe. Please be tolerant of other people, not homophobic or transphobic, respectful of peoples pronouns etc. Don't have a high tolerance for misogynistic or sexist people. Overall just don't be an asshole and be respectful of others and their ideas.
