This is RJ and he needs a new home. He belonged to my best friend who passed away. I wanted to keep him but I can’t give him the time and love that he deserves so I’m looking for someone who will love him and spoil him the way he’s used to. DOB: June 22, 2019. He is speckled chocolate and is 7/8 Australian Cattle Dog. He was born with a stumpy tail. He is up to date on all vaccines and has been neutered. He was an over the road semi-truck dog and has been to all the lower 48 states. He will load up into any vehicle you ask him to. He is house broken, knows basic commands, walks very politely on lead, loves having a bath, loves playing in the mud, plays well with other dogs, and will play in the sprinkler or the garden hose if you let him. He loves children and is very gentle with the elderly and those with disabilities. He loves toys and loves playing games. He is a couch potato and a cuddler but prefers having his own pillow and blanket. He is very spoiled! He learns very quickly when you try to teach him something new. If you’re concerned he won’t bond with you because of his age, don’t be. After his human mom passed, he was very depressed for about a week. My daughter took him home with her for a few days while I went out of state for the funeral, and RJ bonded with her while he was there. Now when she comes to my house to visit, he gets very excited to see her. He is VERY friendly and LOVES people. This gorgeous guy just needs a new family.
