Description
I'm looking for someone with experience in soldering/unsoldering some copper trim which needs to be removed for repair/re-make then re-installed in similar fashion. The job is only for removal/re-installation, not repairing or making new unless you're feeling particularly handy and have a sheet metal shop w/necessary tools. I want to remove the dented side only so the corners need to be un-soldered. The bottom panel is simply riveted in-place around the perimeter and will be removed in the process.
It's about 12' above a sidewalk; scaffolding will be provided, but you must provide your own specific tools. A helper (the person with scaffolding, me) will assist and be responsible for all the other elements of the jobsite. The job will be in two phases - removal and re-install in two separate days as it will take some time for the repairs to be done.
Compensation, listed below, is per day for your skill and can be paid with either a company check, cash or Venmo at end of the day/phase completion. Schedule is flexible, and can be done during the week or on the weekend pending your availability.
Please be sure to provide examples or references to demonstrate your experience working with sheet copper and soldering.
Thanks for looking and your response if able.
