Job Title: Landscape Sales & Estimator Reports to: General Manager Department: Sales Location: Westlake, Ohio FLSA Status: Full- Time, Exempt Job Summary: Ground Works Land Design is looking for a Landscape Sales & Estimator to join our growing team. As the Landscape Sales & Estimator one will be responsible for preparing accurate estimations, presenting the estimate, and closing the contract sale. What we offer: Healthcare Insurance (medical & dental) 401(k), 401(k) matching, Profit Sharing Year-Round Employment Employee Appreciation Events Paid Time Off EAP Program Professional Development Assistance Supervisory Responsibilities: No direct supervisory responsibilities Duties/Responsibilities: Collects information from client relations representative and customer to schedule appointments to visit the prospective client and obtain further information for project needs Submits collected information to landscape architects for design Contacts regular and prospective clients to explain service features and solicit orders Uses information supplied from the landscape architects to present to clients, vendors, and Ground Works personnel to formulate estimates and resolve issues during the development and sales process Once the contract is sold, assist with building the relationship between the Client Relations Representative and client Manages sales pipeline data in the CRM and ensures information is updated as prospected client evolves through the sales process Continues to build relationships with designers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors Maintains current vendor cost of materials, labor, and services to ensure the most accurate estimates, and maintains a database of previous vendors Submits all required records in accordance with company policies Follows company policies and procedures. Performs all other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Adaptable to a growing team Effective communicator with the ability to be presidential when conversing with a client or fellow employee. Detail oriented and organized Self-driven and positive attitude Proficient computer skills Able to work efficiently with little to no supervision Educations and Experience: Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish is a plus Minimum 2 years’ experience in landscaping and grounds keeping Experience in CRMs (HubSpot a plus) Experience in estimating and design software (LMN and Vectorworks a plus) Experience in enhancements, irrigation, and lawn maintenance a plus Experience in construction and snow removal a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Physical Requirements: Able to lift more than 20 lbs.
