This will be a 16-week course in the very basics of Scottish country dance, on Thursday nights from 7-9 p.m., running from 18 August through December 8, with Thanksgiving off. Shiretown Gaming in Houlton will provide space for $80 per participant for the whole course. (Can be paid by the week, $5/week.) As floor-space is very limited, participation will be limited to the first 8 ppl who sign up in advance with Shiretown Gaming, 81 Main St., Houlton.
Participants do NOT need to bring a partner, but they will definitely benefit from having shoes w/ thin, leather soles, such as ballet slippers or dance ghillies.
