Looking for local metal musicians that want to record some music and form a band and market ourselves as such for the purposes of registering with ASCAP/US copyright office and sell our music to music consumers ultimately generating royalty payments and income from live shows. I would like to play festivals and open for national acts realistically in the short term and see what happens from there. The only thing I ask is drugs and alcohol addicts not apply. I have already been in bands where substance abuse was prevalent and it results in the destruction of bands and wastes everyone's time and money into the project. I'd like to be in a band with guys/girls that perform well live and can put on a hell of a show with their talent. Every band I have been in before always had these problems and I have learned from them and totally want to get out of that situation with any musicians I work with from here on out. IT's like a cliche that musicians tend to embellish on and ultimately it does not help you be cooler or achieve success. I play guitar well both rhythm and lead. Influences are from 80's rock/metal all the way up to modern artists and bands that are successful today. I like all kinds of music but my passion lies in heavy metal styles like Megadeth for starters and even into the death metal/black metal styles and I think it would be cool to develop something along those lines of our own or at least attempt it. It's 2022 and its not hard at all to get recording software to create some basic recordings of yourself or share links to videos of your performances online. We all have smart phones that take pictures and record. I am 38/M been playing guitar since I was 13. Open to all ages, Genders, but kinda want people that look like musicians, act like and have the talent to back it up. If that's you, send me an email please and let's go from there.
