Re-homing black lab/blue heeler

Description

We need to re-home one of our dogs. Chip is an almost 4 year old black lab/blue heeler mix, male, neutered, no dew claws, micro-chipped and up to date on his shots/vet health visits. No hip issues or heartworm. He mostly has black lab temperament. He needs to be in an only dog home. He loves to be petted, will run, run, run, enjoys endless belly rubs, knows simple commands and will lay at your feet. He also likes to give hugs when you ask! He follows simple commands like sit. He does not chew things. Like most labs though, he will dig holes in your yard if he is bored or you do not give attention to him. He loves bones from the feed store or TSC. He responds to commands very well with treats and 'good boy' with some rubs. He is very timid and shy around people he does not know and becomes very fearful. He is crate trained and stays in his kennel for bedtime or anytime you leave the house. Just say ‘kennel’ and he goes in. (He likes a treat for going in, hint.) Other dogs nearby stress him out. He does very well as an only dog. Very, very loving and obedient. Not sure how he is around children, as we do not have littles. He comes with his extra-large wire kennel, collar, leash, tags, food dish, etc. He loves his bedding in his kennel. We kindly ask for serious inquiries only and request just $40 for his re-homing. Thank you for reading!
