This beautiful Boy named Blanco is a pure bred European Maine Coon. He is 2 years old and imported from Russia. He is neutered, microchipped, UTD on vaccines, and tested negative for FIV/FELV. He is such a sweet and playful boy. He is also vocal. He has the cutest soft meow which doesn’t match with his big size of a body lol. I rescued him from a home that didn't want him anymore because they couldn't afford to take him to the vet. He developed a severe eye infection in both eyes and they let him suffer like that for a few months and it got worse. He has Inflammation or infection of the outer membrane of the eyeball and the inner eyelid. The vet diagnosed him and he has Conjunctivitis which is an irritation or inflammation of the conjunctiva, which covers the white part of the eyeball. It can be caused by allergies, bacterial, or viral infection. He’ll need Terramycin ophthalmic ointment whenever his eyes start to irritate him. The ointment helps a lot and clears it up. Whoever adopts him will need to make sure to keep Terramycin on hand in the house. He also has stomatitis, but that can be monitored and he may need teeth extractions in the future. He had a condition called Entropion which is when the eyelids turn inward causing the eyelashes to rub against the eyes. This is another reason why his eyes were so irritated and infected. This condition is common in Maine Coons. He recently had Entropion repair surgery and now he is recovering. His eyes are starting to look much better! Poor guy can’t catch a break. His owners did not take good care of him at all. He needs a human that will love him and commit to him the rest of his cat years. Please contact me if interested. Rehoming fee $500
