Full Job Description We are looking for a skilled boat technician to maintain, assess, and repair watercrafts, including bay boats, offshore boats, pontoon boats, jon boats, and more. Applicant must have their own basic hand tools, with all specialty tools provided. We would prefer an experienced tech, but will train the right applicant with the right attitude; however, basic tool/shop experience is a must, experience owning and operating watercraft is very much preferred. Responsibilities -Repair and diagnose outboards, accessories, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and more on boats with a "fix everything" attitude -Look up parts needed for repairs and order when necessary -Maintain company equipment and shop space -Communicate and consult with owner -Keep labor logs -A Positive attitude every day -Great attention to detail. -Experience owning, operating, and working on watercraft -Aptitude in using various hand tools and shop equipment -Ability to follow established procedures and practices -Very good communication skills -A problem-solving ability -Good physical strength and stamina -High school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is a definite plus -Experience operating forklifts If you feel you are a correct applicant for this role, give me a call at 512-574-6685
