I'm a guitar player in my mid-20s looking for other musicians in the Grand Rapids area who would be interested in starting a Shoegaze/Dream Pop project. It could be the louder and heavier stuff like mbv, Slow Crush, Chapterhouse or slower, dreamier stuff like Cocteau Twins, Slowdive, The Radio Dept. Or really anything similar, I just want to play music with people. I would also be interested in joining an already existing project if you're looking for a guitar player. I have material we could start out with if we need to, but would ideally like to collaborate and write new songs and work towards making an EP or album. Writing and recording is my favorite part. Looking to rehearse once a week and work our way up to playing shows about once a month. Admittedly, I don't have a great rehearsal space at the moment. But I have recording gear, software, and experience creating music solo and with others.
