JOB DESCRIPTION
Customer Service Manager Job Description:
1. Reports directly to Director of Operations and General Manager
2. Responsible for hiring, training, and firing front desk personnel
3. Responsible for over-seeing interactions at the desk and all actions by front desk staff
4. Responsible for dealing with all billing questions or disputes
5. Membership and program sales
6. Strong customer service skills and phone presence
7. Responsible for speaking to all members who wish to cancel their membership
8. Over-see cleanliness of main lobby, stair-wells and front desk
9. Register each member that is checking in for the day
10. Scheduling
11. Cash handling
12. Rotating schedule - mornings/day/nights, weekdays & weekends, holidays.
The ideal candidate for this position has a degree in Business Administration or a related field, one year of management experience, strong supervisory and management skills with high customer service expectations, outstanding leadership qualities and exceptional interpersonal skills. Fluent English speaking and written communication skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures stated goals are met
Guarantees customer satisfaction in all areas
Manages and maintains property, which includes ensuring the building/grounds are kept in a clean and safe condition, that all systems are maintained according to set schedules/procedures, etc.
Manages and mentors staff, including recruiting/hiring/training of all employees, overseeing HR/payroll, managing issues of discipline/termination, ensuring ongoing training/education, etc.
Ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and all company policies
