BRAINTREE, MA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we're working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.
This submission comes from Katie McMullin who nominated Sarah Coughlin, the director of food services for Braintree Public Schools. McMullin nominated her friend Coughlin for her work helping to feed Braintree families at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic.

She used myself and another volunteer to drive meals to families who could not pick them up on their own at two local schools.One thing to know: She has quiet confidence, not boastful, works hard, thinks outside the box for Braintree residents experiencing hardship.
