Student from Lebanon Needs Host Family

Layana is 16 and is coming on a full-ride scholarship from the US Department of State. She is from Lebanon and has been accepted to Shelbyville High School. Her host family is not able to host her anymore. She arrives in later August and needs a new home for the year. It is okay if the family is not in Shelbyville district because I might be able to get her accepted at a new school. She has two brothers in Lebanon, ages 13 and 11. She really likes crafts, particularly making jewelry. She is also interested in tennis. Loves shopping, galleries, and museums. Host families would need to be able to provide food for three meals a day and a real bed (not a futon). The student can share a room if the sibling is of the same sex and near the same age. Families cannot be on government assistance. I can share her brief profile for those interested. A full profile can be shared after approval of the application and a background check that my organization, PAX, pays for.
