Looking for Indy jazz and swing instrumentalists

Hi. I'm Deanna and I'm originally from Indy (23 years) and have just moved back to Indy from Portland, Oregon. I'm an experienced gigging vocalist and band leader and want to meet jazz, swing, big band, rat pack/lounge musicians for gigging in Indy. I've got a great list of fun capable sidemen and bandmates in Portland but almost no one in Indy, though it's developing thanks to CL posts. I realize finding enough people for full sections may be difficult so I'm thinking I start with finding piano, bass and drums for a trio and then grow from there including a "mini big band" and/or septet depending on the gig. Do you love 1940s-50s big band, swing, jazz, rat pack/lounge? Desire to make music with nice people and eventually gig out? Wanna work with a vocalist that actually values instrumentalists and isn't a diva? Please be in touch. I'd love to meet you explore making music together.
