Description

A consumer appliance manufacturer in New Bedford has an immediate opening for an experienced Maintenance. Maintains production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. This position also requires the use of hand tools, power tools and conventional milling machines. Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service. Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment. Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment. Experience in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic maintenance. Some welding is required. Perform other duties as assigned or needed. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
