Brain Energy Research Study at McLean Hospital

This a research study conducted by McLean Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center You may be eligible for this research study if you are between 15-30 years old and have experienced new or recent changes in your mental health such as... * Starting to feel like your eyes/ears/mind are playing tricks on you, and confused about what is real and what is not * Feeling suspicious of others and withdrawn from friends or family * Feeling more anxious, depressed, or out of touch, and drop in self care or personal hygiene * Becoming overly focused on certain ideas that other people find odd These concerns are causing new problems in school, work, or attention. The study consists of a clinical interview, a blood draw, MRI Scans, and cognitive assessments. These procedures will be performed across 2 visits and then repeated during one- and two- year follow-up timepoints. You may earn up to $320 per timepoint.
