Handyperson to Connect Garden Hose to Timer

Need a handyperson with maybe some plumbing tape! Connect a garden hose to a timer! The existing timer and connection keeps leaking. Just unscrew the hose from the timer. Look at where it's leaking. Screw back in and maybe use plumber's tape. Just know how to use a wrench and be adept at figuring things out like this. Might have other handyperson work sometime too.
