Heumann Realty, Inc. is currently seeking to hire a Maintenance Technician in the Utica, NY area. The Maintenance Technician must be skilled in drywall repair, painting, light plumbing, basic electrical, basic carpentry, and HVAC experience preferred. The position is also responsible for grounds maintenance and entry/sidewalk snow removal/salting. Must be able to adapt to changing work priorities. Must be self-motivated and enjoy working independently as well as on a team. Customer service skills required to work closely with the residents, team members, and contractors. Will be responsible to cover on-call emergencies on a rotational basis with team members. Requirements: One plus years prior maintenance skills -- drywall repair, painting, light plumbing, basic electrical, cleaning and general maintenance repair skills as well as HVAC experience. Prior commercial, apartment or home repair maintenance skills needed. Minimum HS/GED required. Will be expected to work indoors and outdoors to maintain grounds and buildings in all kinds of weather.
