We're looking for an energized automotive professional with knowledge of diagnostics, service, and repairs to join our team in Chicago As an Automotive Technician, you will report into our Service Manager and be responsible for the execution, certification, and improvement of our work standards and processes. Your job will be to diagnose, repair, and service vehicles that come into our repair facility. This work requires teaming, respect, and problem-solving with different parts of the organization. Responsibilities Act as the highest quality vehicle maintenance, diagnostic, and service technician Greet customers in a timely manner Perform all diagnostic and repair procedures including driver interactions at intake Provide training, assistance, and mentoring of technicians Clean and detail vehicles, as needed Maintain a clean and safe work environment on a continuous basis Maintains and executes system standards and visual management Assist with onboarding and training of new technicians to help upskill the team Maintain a collaborative, inclusive, and respectful attitude in a dynamic environment. Requirements 3+ years of automotive experience with hands-on service, maintenance, and repairs Has worked professionally in the field with new vehicle dealer services Knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in automotive services Has deep knowledge and experience in automobile repairs Capable in mechanical and electrical diagnostics including OBD II and CAN OEM, ASE certifications preferred Toyota and or Tesla experience a plus Must have a basic level of computer proficiency Must have a valid unrestricted driver’s license Capable of standing, walking, and completing repeated physical actions and functions for 8 hours per day About Drive Sally About Sally Our mission is to be the most trusted vehicle and service provider across all markets.
