Description
My name is Tony my family has been dairy farming for 60 years and our farm recently burnt down. We were milking approximately 800 cows before the fire. We are currently milking at 2 facilities and rebuilding our milking parlor. The parlor we are building will have the milking capacity for 1200. I would really like to build our work with this new barn...
I have 2 job openings available. Pay varies depending on skill set and experience. There is housing available
First job is for a calf feeder, you get your own barn to feed calves in it is very clean and a nice facility. Hours are a split shift 8 a.m to 12 p.m and 6 p.m to 9 p.m with 1 day off a week. Skills needed Patience, attention to detail and care for animals.
Second job is for a barn cleaner. Barns are mostly cleaned with a skid steer. This takes about 4 hours and than you will be helping with other tasks around the farm. The hours can be flexible but should be approximately 7 a.m to 4 p.m 6 days a week. skills needed skid steer operating and other machinery skills would be handy.
I would love to hire a married couple as I only have one house. It was a gutted trailer that I bought last year and I have completely rebuilt it. I don't want to deal with drunks and crack heads so don't bother asking.
