Son-Rise Autism Therapy Volunteers Needed

We are looking for fun positive, enthusiastic and understanding volunteers to work with a high energy 17 year old young man who has Autism. We provide training using videos, books and ongoing feedback. We are looking for local volunteers who are willing to help out 2-4 hrs per week for 6 months. One of our goals is to learn how to build a mountain bike from scratch. Son-Rise is a parent facilitated, family oriented approach that seeks to teach social and communicative skills. It is a less behavioral approach and more relational one. We have worked with teachers, psychology students, and others who are interested in learning and growing with us.
