**Only accepting US-Based Applicants at this time Molder Set Up Technician and Knife Grinder Victory Millwork - located in Lynden Washington is looking for an experienced wood molder set up and knife grinder technician. Victory Millwork is looking for the right person with the right experience to join our team and help achieve the best results and highest quality millwork with our people and through our equipment. Our molder technician will be the go-to person to ensure our people are trained to perform to the best of their ability and the equipment is tuned and performing to its full capacity. Job Duties: Molder Setup and trouble shooting Tooling, maintenance and change overs of the molders Set up of molder heads Knife grinding and sharpening - existing profiles Knife pattern creation, maintenance and cataloging of patterns Knife grinding and creation based new patterns or profiles Job Responsibilities: Prior experience with Weinig equipment is preferred. Ability and the knowledge to be able to keep all molder knives sharp at all times Ability Clean knives and heads after each molder run Ability Set up heads prior to the next run Ability to trouble shoot during a production run, make adjustments during the run, communicate with and mentor our molder operator team Other Responsibilities: Knife grinder operation, ordering and having on hand all consumables for the knife grinder including a supply of knife steel on hand, at all times Oil, grease and lubricate the molders as needed in conjunction with the maintenance team to ensure PMs are done on a regular basis. Ability to grow, develop and mentor our molder operators - sharing experiences and technical skill gained from your years of experience. Skills, Education and Experience: Factory Weinig training a plus Experience operating, setting up and running Weinig molders a plus Wood products manufacturing and or Door and Millwork experience a plus Proficiency with knife profile grinding and creation required HOURS: Full-Time, 7:00am-3:30pm, M-F COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Competitive Wage - DOE Medical/Dental/Vision insurance and Health Savings Accounts (HSA's) with employer contributions Retirement Plan Paid Holidays Paid Time Off As a standard part of the employment application process Victory Millwork may request employment references.
