Looking for flute or violin player who would like to play either A) bluegrass, or B) some badass acoustic folk rock. Especially flute. :] -The bluegrass group meets casually and weekly, and has started to gig at breweries. Currently paid in flats of beer but eventually I think some light money gigs are gonna roll in. -The badass acoustic folk rock group plays music rich in vocal harmonies (i hope you like to sing!) and plays songs with interesting harmonic progressions. (lots of tasty non-diatonic motion!). Any skill level welcome to apply. Skills we value: * reading sheet music (we love partwriting for flute & violin) * improvisation over chord charts or by ear * singing harmonies And we can meet anywhere - sometimes Redmond, sometimes Seattle, sometimes MLT, etc. ~~~~~looking forward to hearing from you~~~
