Description
Vocalist, Ryth Guitar & Keys looking for guitarist, bassist, and possibly (electronic) drums to form an 80's first-wave/post-wave group with emphasis on performing a series of tightly orchestrated, themed shows, each revolving around a central theme and made up of iconic songs from the 80's to early 90's era. (partial artists list below).
This will not allow you to quit your day job. We will not be playing out every week or even every month. Our gigs will be carefully selected, our shows exhaustively curated and rehearsed - and all band decisions and successes will be shared evenly - 100% of the time.
No egos please, but collaborative perfectionists are welcome. No politicos, drama royalty of any kind. Any age is welcome, any gender, any anything - as long as you love music, love to play and want to entertain. If you're a techie, we'll have access to state of the art VFX and stage VDMX technology, and the ability to drive lights, video and other show elements using MTC/Midi & SMPTE. The goal is to create a larger than life experience where no two shows are exactly the same. To support this, players are expected to be able to learn and practice the selected songs along to computer clock driven (humanized) audio/light driven click and audio cues.
We have a couple locations around Daytona Beach/Ormond to practice, however, because these are covers, players will be expected to be able to handle learning and practicing on their own, and being able to bring it playable when we do meet in person.
