Need some digging/excavation under house

Water line broke under kitchen area of old house. The house was built with no foundation in the '50s and skunks have at times burrowed under other parts of the house and have dug up dirt, allowing it to build up to right under the house floor. The first portion in front has been dug out, but need someone to dig a trench 2"x6" so the plumber can get under to repair busted pipes. We have a shovel, the dirt is somewhat compacted but not winter-hard and the water has been shut off for two weeks, so it is dry - but was flooded before so it should be looser than normal. Doesn't need to be super neat, just cleared out so plumber can access.
