Introduction to Data Science and Programming

My name is Nadia and I am a rising senior at UC Berkeley double majoring in Data Science and Cognitive Science. During my time at Berkeley, I have maintained a 3.8 GPA and served as an Academic Intern in the computer science department. I am passionate about providing STEM education for students in middle school and high school. This fall I will be offering 2 courses, Intro to Data Science and Intro to Programming. Students will learn the fundamental technical concepts required for success in future data science and computer science coursework. Classes will start the week of 8/15 and end the week of 12/9. Introduction to Data Science: Group A: Mondays 6:30-7:30 Group B: Wednesdays 6:30-7:30 Introduction to Programming: Group A: Wednesdays 5:30-6:30 Group B: Fridays 5:30-6:30 Class sizes will be kept small so students can have a personalized work environment. Please send me a message including the grade level of your student to discuss enrollment. There is no difference between group A and B besides the class times. Students can enroll in one course, or both courses for a discounted price. I have been teaching online courses since 2018 and have extensive experience with virtual learning.
