Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. Valid State of Texas driver’s license. Two years of working experience in general building maintenance and repair. General knowledge in mechanical equipment, plumbing, electrical, construction, and janitorial Knowledge of occupational hazards and standard safety practices. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and drawings. Ability to understand and carry out oral and written work instructions in English and Spanish.
Typical Duties
Performs general routine electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling, and building maintenance as directed.
Install and repair flooring, ceiling tiles, furniture, cubicles, doors, fixtures, and hardware.
Change light bulbs, set up for events, move furniture, hang wall fixtures, and assist departments as directed.
Perform grounds-keeping duties and trash removal at multiple properties.
Assist licensed contractors in significant projects, including installation, renovation, and repair of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and interior construction.
Performs maintenance duties and manual labor as directed. Must be available to work after regular business hours and on weekends
Performs related work as required.
