My grandfather, Boyd Cole, who was more commonly known as Coach Cole throughout his teaching and coaching career. I truly believe he had such an impact on the lives of those who taught and coached in football and softball, most recently as Head Coach at Riverfield Academy, previously spending 20+ years at Sterlington High Shool, West Ouachita, and a few in Shreveport area. None of those students would believe that he is now confined to a wheelchair for now as we wait for the prosthetic process to move along, but those cost anywhere from $5k to $120k. I also believe he should have a life alert system in place. Long story short, this man who has dedicated his career to reaching the hearts and minds the youth of Northeast LA, deserves to be able to walk again. Much love to all of those softball players who are now nurses and tended to him while he was at St. Francis. We appreciate you tremendously ❤
