Office/Housekeeper & Live In Caregiver

We're looking for a "can do" person who is high energy, highly ethical and honest and extremely organized to come join our business and family as an office and house manager to us and a caregiver to my mother, who is elderly and needs some amount of supervision and care. This will be a demanding job that requires focus and attention to detail. It can also be very satisfying and rewarding, since you will help an elderly person achieve some independence and a family and business achieve goals. The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help us inside our office and home (the same location) and in my elderly mother's home (which is right across from us). You will have a private room and a private bathroom and you will have access to a kitchen and a living room. You will be living in one Austin's most desired zip codes. All utilities and rent/parking will be covered. The retail price for this would be more than $3500 per month. Responsibilities & Expectations Include Plan and prepare meals Perform all housekeeping duties Run errands, maintain shopping list and do all shopping Be a pleasant and supportive companion Report any unusual incidents Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency Proven experience as a caregiver Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR) Excellent Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards Organizational skills Respectful and compassionate Good time management skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Strong ethics Physical endurance High school diploma or equivalent REQUIREMENTS Must be vaccinated (Covid and all other CDC recommended vaccines) and agree to continue to maintain vaccination status Must hold valid driver license and have a good driving record We require a background check.
