Sanders is a Socialist and even though Democrats have no problem with socialism they won't go as far as voting for one as President. Newsom record of abusing his own covid dictates for himself and family plus the attempted recall of his governorship, once again aired nationally would make him look terribly weak and compromised.
Trump has the majority of Republican support nationally all the polls show this, should Trump not run his support would switch to DeSantis seamlessly.
Liz Cheney hasn't a snowballs chance in Hell to be the nominee for the Republicans, she's underwater in her own primary and as a national figure Republicans reject her for her Jan 6th participation like they would the plague. She's dead meat.
The bottom line is with nearly 100% support by Democrats of Biden's policies that have pushed us into a recession and runaway inflation their changes this year and 2024 are extremely low and limited.
Actually, Kamala Harris would be the Democrat's choice in '24 if Biden's numbers stay low. Bernie Sanders and Gov. Newsome are also possible candidates.
For Republicans, trump is out and Desantis is behind trump.
The dark horse in this race would be Liz Cheney. If she ran as an Independent she might have a chance.
