Seeking partners for shared rehearsal / studio space

Description
Tatsumaki Taiko, a traditional Japanese drumming group, is seeking a partner to share a studio rehearsal space. We are actively researching studio spaces in the east bay (Oakland, Berkeley, Richmond, or near by). We hope to move into a new studio by the fall, if not sooner. We were displaced from our previous studio due to COVID-19. Perhaps you and your group are in the same situation and would like to partner in our search? We would like to rent a space at least 950sq ft, with a large open floor space; but a larger space (1,200-1,800?) would be great. Location is flexible; our previous studios have been in Berkeley and Richmond, so that area of the east bay is preferred. In the past we had lease/sublet partners who practiced percussion, music, dance, or martial arts. We seeking a partner, or partners, involved in a complementary activity. Either another percussion group, or something with an Asian / Japanese cultural connection would be ideal, but that's not a requirement. Our previous studios have had mirrors on 2 walls and a wood floor. We would like the same, and will help with the labor and materials to install these in a new space. Ideally, we would like a ground floor space with a high ceiling and easy access (wide door or roll up door) to move our gear in & out. We also need a space and location where we can play our drums and not have a problem with neighbors or other building tenants. Tatsumaki Taiko's previous studio schedule was Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Our previous time-share partner’s schedule was Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. We always made accommodations for special events and activities. As you can see sharing time & space would be easy because we can arrange an alternating schedule of days & times. **Studio Pros** Solid construction, limited doors & Windows Roll up door Door and/or windows facing away from homes, other businesses Bathroom, or easy access to a shared bathroom Location near freeway Secure parking Wood floor, or thick carpet Unobstructed space, either square or a large rectangle floor space High ceiling, at least 10 to 12 feet, for storage Drywall or wood panel walls (easier to hang things) 24/7 Access We will comply with all COVID-19 protocols If you are looking for a studio space in the east bay near Berkeley, Oakland, Richmond, etc.. please contact us. We're serious and looking for a partner to share a studio space ASAP! Arigatou ~ Thanks!
