Big Dipper Wax Works is seeking beeswax candle making and packaging assistants. Hand pouring, dipping, and packaging beeswax candles. Working individually or in teams to produce and package candles. We hand pour, dip, and package all our product and are looking for individuals who are adept at and enjoy working with their hands. No candle making experience necessary, we'll train the right candidates. Work with natural beeswax and essential oils! We are hiring for Temporary/Seasonal labor needs. We are hiring in for a 3-month season. In the event permanent positions are available and temporary hires have fulfilled expectations, seasonal employment may lead to an offer for permanent employment. The following shift options are available Thursday-Monday: 8-4 Friday-Tuesday: 8-4 Wed-Sunday: 8-4 Saturday-Wednesday: 8-4 Monday-Friday: 7-3, 8-4, 9-5, 10-6. Some requirements and considerations: Please be comfortable working with and around fire and heat Have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Be able to lift; fill; push; pull; walk; stand; crouch; reach overhead; and climb stairs/ladders Read written formulas, instructions, scale read-outs, machine buttons, and safety precautions. Read and comprehend verbal instructions in English and observe reactions of materials Have high attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining quality.
