Quality & service are the core principles of our company and we prioritize excellent relationships with our clients. We provide structural steel framing, Canopies, stairs, rails, ladders, other misc. metals & ornamental metals. We service clients in the multi-family, commercial retail/residential and Manufacturing sectors. We’re currently hiring a qualified Field Project Manager that is motivated and wants to grow with our company! Relocation assistance will be provided based on your location. ***Only Candidates within commutable distance will be considered. Office is located in* Redmond, WA *** Responsibilities • Anticipating/understanding the full scope of work and comparing contract documents to estimate to identify revisions or value engineering that may not be immediately evident. • Project scheduling working backward from general contractor required on job dates and understanding when expectations are unreasonable or do not follow required work procedures. • Attending on-site or virtual project meetings, as required. • Engaging detailing with priorities and delivery requirements in mind, in-house or subcontracted as availability allows, and ensure detailers shop drawings meet project specifications, estimate, and requirements for build-ability & erect-ability. • Coordinating between general contractor & other trades. • Managing submittals; shop drawings, samples, technical data, etc. • Managing the procurement process and properly coding all project invoices upon delivery/routing to ensure the proper capture of project costs • Obtaining field measurements and ensuring their accuracy before fabrication is scheduled. • Coordinating fabrication and delivery schedules. • Coordinating with the field subcontractor for the installation of finished/fabricated product and ensuring the subcontracted erector’s on-site work quality meets expectations. • Ensuring actual costs remain within budget throughout the life of the project. • Accurately computing additional costs resulting from project changes and promptly issuing a change order request to the general contractor and tracking the status of each request. • Remaining informed of project progress and status of issues. • Issuing required close-out documents to the general. Requirements • 3+ years’ experience in the miscellaneous metals and(or) structural steel industry • Able to read Architectural and Structural Construction drawings. • Strong computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Bluebeam. • Possess and apply a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures to the completion of difficult assignments. • Ability to develop and improve upon product knowledge. • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and able to multi-task. • Strong organizational & communication skills. • Solid works, Bluebeam and Projects experience preferred.
