This is on behalf of a family member, I wasn't there so don't have all the details. But basically they witnessed someone prowling their car and looking in their windows as they left the library. This person then walked towards another vehicle, possibly to act as if that was their vehicle, or prowl that one too. Male suspect, wearing face diaper outside on hot day, with a backpack. Happened around 5-5:15pm or so, Friday July 29. Nothing was taken and the car was locked with the alarm, but just want to give a heads up to all who use the library, and do this Public Service Announcement. We prefer not to deal with the local cops and don't trust them for various reasons, so this went unreported except here. ● Be careful in the Ferndale Library parking lot! ● Lock your vehicle always! ● Don't leave valuables or money in your vehicle at the Ferndale Library parking lot!! 🚨YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!🚨
