(Se habla espanol) 720-318-0097 Our work environment includes: Growth opportunities On-the-job training Relaxed atmosphere Newbies are welcome: We will train the right candidate Lawn Care and Landscape Specialist Job Summary We are looking for a preferred experienced and motivated Lawn Care and Landscape Tech to join our growing lawn care and landscape team. We provide lawn and soft landscaping services to residents of Aurora and the surrounding south Denver metro area. As a Lawn Care and Landscape Tech on our team, you will have the chance to work outside in nature, designing and creating your own daily workout, and experience an entrepreneurial environment where your input is valued. You will operate mowers, leaf blowers, weed eaters, and other common tools to create and maintain carefully manicured outdoor spaces. You will also be asked to assist in backyard transformations consisting of rock, mulch, and sod installation; planting; and weekly residential yard upkeep. You will also be asked to participate in the creative design, planning, and execution of lawn mowing and landscaping jobs. We are especially interested in candidates with prior experience in landscape maintenance, ground maintenance, aerating, irrigation, and fertilization techniques. This is a seasonal opportunity ending in November (based on weather conditions) and resuming in April. Lawn Care and Landscape Specialist’s Duties and Responsibilities Use mowers, weed eaters, and common hand tools to trim grass and edge lawn areas Use wheelbarrows, shovels, and small machinery to install rock, mulch, and sod Install plants, shrubs, and small trees on residential properties Have face-to-face client interaction Use their creativity to design landscapes of all shapes and sizes Work outdoors in all weather conditions, maintaining energy and pace along with the team Operate leaf blowers and gather grass and hedge trimmings for removal Drive a truck to various client locations and ensure proper storage of equipment during transport Lawn Care Worker Requirements and Qualifications A valid driver's license and clean driving record Able to lift upwards of 50 pounds and bend, lift, and stand for extended periods Capability to walk and stand the majority of the day Familiarity with common landscaping equipment Prior experience or work in lawn maintenance (preferred) but not required. Strong communication skills (preferred) Reliable and self-motivated Enjoy working in a fast-paced, flexible environment Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour; dependent on experience Benefits: Referral program Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: Aurora, CO 80011: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: Landscaping: 1 year (Preferred) Language: English (Preferred) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required)
