You will be given an Airbound t-shirt. Then you will catch a ride in company vehicles/carpool to the event location and kick off the event. A ride will be provided round trip. All necessary instruction and equipment will be provided to do your responsibilities. And there will be someone there to guide you all along the way. This particular event will be done before you know it. More details will be provided as soon as you are recruited due to the nature of this work. I'll keep strong lines of communication open! Please email me - tell me a little bit about yourself and please include a contact phone number. All I will ask is some basic questions, and set up a time for a rundown over phone or zoom. It won't be anything crazy. I'll only accept calls from local numbers, otherwise I'll call you back if I get a voicemail. Ok, how do I get there? Attached to this posting are two separate maps, the first one shows you where we are on County Road 9 and the second one shows you the long dirt driveway you have to come down for we are tucked behind a small farm house on County Road 9. I do not know what direction you are coming from however, these maps show you coming from Highway 392 by the Windsor Exit (works coming from Timberline as well). Our Office address is 8234 South County Road 9, Fort Collins, CO (same as warehouse address). If you do not have GPS or prefer written directions, please read below: You will want to turn South on to County Road 9 (right if coming from Fort Collins, Left if coming from Windsor) and travel South up over a small hill; you will then see two white mail boxes on the East side of the road. The first white mail box is the farm house we are tucked behind and the second white mailbox is ours. You will take a β€œleft” or turn β€œeast” down the long dirt driveway that has 2 yellow arrows on each side. We also have the numbers β€œ8234” on our white mailbox at the road. If you would just rather just go to the event in your own vehicle that works well too! Reach out to me if you need help arriving to the warehouse that day, I can assist you. More details will be provided as soon as you are recruited. If you have any questions or need help getting there, please feel free to give me a call or speak with our office! We're happy to help. More details will be provided as soon as you are recruited due to the nature of this work. What do I wear? We don't have a strict dress code. You will be provided with an Airbound t-shirt you must wear. We recommend wearing clothing for hot weather, so shorts and comfortable tennis shoes. Black can be professional. What do I bring? Good question, we recommend a Personal Work Backpack to bring with you to this event for your "Survival Kit": Airbound work is typically outside during the summer months. This can make it hot, and days can be long. Water / Gatorade or any Electrolyte Filled Drink (the small powder packets come in handy to have a few extras in your backpack and have at all times) In this case, a lunch for food vouchers may not be provided. Small Cooler Sunscreen!!! Protein / Nutrition Bars Packed Lunch/Dinner (if working during mealtimes*) Work Gloves Sunglasses Sun Hay or Ball Cap (Airbound Ball Caps available!) Bandana Pain Reliever- Advil (Ibuprofen) or Tylenol (Acetaminophen) Chapstick (with SPF) Deodorant Hand Sanitizer Bug Spray Rain Jacket/Rain Pants Identification (Driver’s License, School ID) Cell Phone (with emergency contacts stored) Spare T-shirt and Socks (case of heat or rain) Jacket/Sweatshirt Sweatpants You have the responsibility to be there for your commitment, provide a fun atmosphere, and work with a team. About this process: A recruiting program is the opportunity for workers themselves to enlist a person to work on an assigned shift. You'll be put in the onboarding and payroll system just like I am. I'll introduce you to my boss - Mrs. Tarsha, just to keep her in the loop, but nothing more is required after your rundown meeting with me. Except for payment information for direct deposit (or pay card/check). Many large Venues utilize this practice – it creates a fun and close-knit work environment with the potential to accomplish large tasks as a team among familiar faces. And of course – anyone who falls in love with the work they do might find themselves a long-term position on these temporary Crews for our busy days.
