FULL TIME, YEAR ROUND General Contractor Opportunity Benefits available after first (90) days Perform general tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. Operate hand and power tools common on commercial & residential construction sites. Clean and prepare sites, erect scaffolding, build and clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials. Primary responsibilities: • Assist with demolition or building construction • All building construction including drywall, painting, etc. • Load, unload, stage construction materials • Maintain tools and equipment • Complete minor concrete, sheet sheeting and carpentry work • Finish concrete slabs • Erection of steel buildings • Cleaning and removal of debris and trash at construction sites • Forming and pouring of concrete foundations and various flatwork • Perform other general construction duties as assigned by foreman Minimal qualifications: Must have a valid driver’s license. Must be able to perform physical activities including lifting (50lbs), bending, standing, climbing, and walking. Must be able to use manual tools and power equipment common in the construction trade. Must be willing to day travel and work occasional 4-10 schedule. MUST be a team player, be able to follow instructions, pay attention to detail and demonstrate quality problem solving skills. Prequalification’s: 2 (+) years of experience in construction. Technical training is a plus
