Violet is a pure bred bay Arabian mare from Huckleberry Bay's bloodline and is about 15 yo. She is the sweetest, most amazing horse I've ever met. She is gentle and quiet while being led and will stand tied for forever to be groomed and for the farrier and vet. When I adopted her from a rescue 2 years ago she was being trained using natural horsemanship. She does not use a bit and doesn't need it. I mostly use a western saddle on her but have also used an English saddle and ride her bareback often. She can be a bit hyper while riding and a little stubborn so I would not recommend a beginner rider. Though she does very well with kids if someone is leading her while they ride. She goes out on trails alone but does get a bit over excited so I would recommend going with a buddy. She occasionally spooks but never takes off or bucks/rears. To find her new home the person will have to connect with her and be a gentle and experienced rider since she is fairly sensitive. I will not sell her to just anyone since she is my heart horse. I'm just about to be a full time vet tech student and I plan on leaving the country in the next 5 years or so. I would be happiest to sell her to someone that keeps her where she is since she has established friends. And so maybe I can potentially see her every once in a while. I will miss her.
