Shot in the dark here, but was wondering if anyone was interested in starting a punk/country band. This would be writing music that is left leaning (not post 9/11 neo country bullshit lmao), pro union, anti government, true country spirit with the attitude of electric, punk rock. Musical influences would be stuff like woodie Guthrie, Hank Williams/Hank III, Johnny cash, all the other old country folks with broken hearts, aswell as punk bands like nine pound hammer, Nashville pussy, dead Kennedys, dayglo abortions etc. I sing, play a little guitar, play bass, play baritone uke which is like a guitar substitute, and yeah I don't have practice space or much anything of equipment which is why it's a shot in the dark (aswell as it being kind of a weird genre to try and find people to be a part of), but I write music and have some solo stuff on Bandcamp I've made here and there over the years.
