Drummer Wants to Form an Indie Surf Rock Cover Band

I'm a late-30s drummer/dad/full-time employed person looking for other like-minded individuals to start an Indie Surf Rock cover band. Some bands I'm influenced by are Real Estate, Turnover, DIIV, Beach Fossils, Surfer Blood, and Vacationer. My idea is that instead of the time-consuming process of writing originals, we learn and play songs that most people probably don't know, but are great for that laid-back California atmosphere at breweries, outdoor events, parties, and the like.
