In lieu of our regularly scheduled coalition meeting in August, we will be hosting an Active Aggressor Workshop on Thursday, August 25th at 2:00pm. In coordination with the Department of Homeland Security's Cybersecurity Infrastructure and Security Agency (CISA) we are bringing an active aggressor/active threat/ active shooter emergency preparedness workshop tailored for our healthcare partners.  Participants can expect: engaging discussions about active aggressors within healthcarea review of best practices and planning considerations you can usehow to plan for these events or how to enhance your existing plansThis event is open to any partner organization within the NSPA region including but not limited to: Hospitals, Home Care, Dialysis, Long Term Care, EMS, Law Enforcement, Fire and more. This event will also be in-person only and held at the Vinton War Memorial located at 814 E Washington Avenue, Vinton VA. All participants must pre-register.
