Hey y'all my name is Matthew. I'm forming a klezmer/jewish music band for gigs, weddings, bar mitzvah's etc. I play electric and acoustic guitar and sing. I can play lead guitar as well as rhythm. I can also play percussion and bass. I'm looking for this band to be real groovy and with a jazz flavor. I have a background in jazz guitar and when I lived in New York I would occasionally gig Jewish events with my friend. I intend to incorporate a lot of carlebach tunes, rendering them in a very flavorful and original way. I would love an amazing drummer, sax player and whatever else seems to fit. I hope to find others who can sing as well. If you're an awesome musician looking for gigs and to get down on awesome jams then hit me up! You do not have to be Jewish to be in this band!
