Songwriter and guitar/keyboard player, established drummer (& friends) seek fiddle player for occasional gigs and recording sessions between Athens, Georgia and Lenox, Mass. On verge of launching first record: seven originals, produced by Grammy-winning REM/Widespread Panic engineer John Keene, along with vocals and guitar by Americana recording artist and producer Johnny Irion, with producer Paul Kolderie behind the controls for several songs, the man behind Radiohead's breakthrough album Pablo Honey and hit single Creep. Kolderie's past production credits include Pixies (Surfer Rosa), Uncle Tupelo and Mile Gordon from Phish. Randall Bramblett, Greg Allman's touring keyboardist for two decades, adds his talents to the wistful "Halfway to Georgia," along with Keene contributing peddle steel (the same guy who played peddle on all the great REM tunes, including "Country Feedback.") Two-time Georgia State Fiddle Champion Andy Carlson brings his talents to bear on the rollicking Roll Your Own. We've got a catalog of 50-plus original songs with more on the way... and we could use one more voice in the mix... a voice that sounds like a fiddle.
