Explore themes of beauty, race, and identity in contemporary society through the depiction of Black children in the exhibition Deborah Roberts: I’m and via three empowering picture books. Librarian Ednita Kelly reads Julian is a Mermaid by Jessica Love, Hair Love by Matthew A. Cherry, and The Me I Choose to Be by Natasha Anastasia Tarpley.
