The Brooke Ramsdell Memorial Family Fun Run/Walk and Kids Dash will once again take place on the scenic trails at the White Mountains Regional High School. The Brooke Ramsdell Scholarship Fund awards annual scholarship(s) to a WMRHS student athlete who exemplifies excellence, leadership in the athletic realm and assists in building a positive school climate at WMRHS. Brooke Ramsdell who lost her courageous battle with cancer was an active member of our community and was loved by everyone that was lucky enough to meet her. She was an outstanding athlete and a motivated member of the graduating class of 2011. Brookie’s Challenge was originally formed in 2013 and has become an annual event for the community to honor Brooke’s life and last year was combined with the Memorial Fun Run and renamed. We are so excited to be hosting this event on the trails at White Mountains Regional High School on Sunday, September 25, 2022. This will be a timed event and prizes will be awarded to the top runners. This year we will be adding a kids run as well! We will have music and a meal for all participants, as well as meal tickets for purchase for the public who are only interested in attending the brunch. The first heat will start at 10:00 a.m. and registration will begin at 9 a.m. We are looking for participants as well as business sponsorships for this event.
