Denning Park is a public park nestled in between residential homes. This park is valued by the community and brings in many volunteers each year to help maintain the park. Join us in Lagrange to plant these baby trees. With financial support from the Morton Arboretum and in honor of their Centennial Year Celebration, we will be planting a 10 trees in Denning Park to reduce heat islands and better manage water retention at this site. We will be meeting beside the Field House in front of the parking lot on Willow Springs Rd. Here is the coordinate point. No experience is necessary! Volunteers will help us dig holes, plant trees, mulch, and water. Please bring a mask, long pants, closed toe shoes, a (full) water bottle and sunscreen. We will take care of everything else! Note that masks may need to be worn for the duration of the project.
