Position Title: Tire Mounter - 1st Shift Wage: $16/hour Shift: 1st Hours: M-F 7am-3:30pm + mandatory OT, including 10-12 hour shifts + weekends This growing company is looking for employees who enjoy a fast paced work environment where they can utilize multiple skills. Tire Mounter responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Place stems in the wheels - Secure the tire to the rim - Assist the line with the air cage and place the air into the tires - Place stickers on the tires and lift the tires off the assembly line and onto stacks to be moved by the forklift drivers and stored away - May be trained to operate a forklift - May be requested to load trucks by hand lifting up to 100lbs - Operate the hoists to move the tires larger than 100lbs to be mounted onto the rims - Operate computers to read order forms and understand which tires are needed and to create the labels for the tires Tire Mounter requirements: - Lift/push/pull up to 100lbs to lift the tires repetitively throughout a shift, job rotation available in the team as needed - Stand for a full shift - Bend and twist to move tires and exert up to 100lbs of push/pull, roll as needed to remove from the assembly line and in place for the forklift - Work in cold/hot and loud environment - Exert excessive pressure to hold down the crowbar to mount the tires Benefits: Associate to hire with a full benefits package available once hired on QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic.
