Putting together a working Blues Band

Hey Everybody! Name is working title :) - put looking to get a killer group of musicians together to play around town & hopefully the greater Southeast/Mid-Atlantic to blow the roof off of venues. I am a vocalist & guitar player, in my early 30s, work a full time job, married with a new born daughter(she's amazing) and want to play out at least 2x a week. Looking for: - Bass - Drums - Horns - Harmonica - Organ Wanna build our set around blues/early rock & roll/60s R&B as well as anything else that could make sense in that genre, I also really love Khruangbin & think that world inspired jams could work into the set very nicely. Idea being that we'd be the perfect bar band to get folks dancing & having fun, also thinking we could teach folks about this music & the history behind it(I'm a nerd for sure about all this)!! Think it could be lucrative as well, nice to get a side hustle going that could hopefully become a main GIG!! Some Artist we'd pay respects to: Junior Kimbrough, Lighting Hopkins, Slim Harpo, Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, B.B. King, Ray Charles, Otis Redding, Booking T & The MGs, The Meters, Son House, Sister Rosetta Tharp, R.L Burnside, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Elvis, James Brown, Sam Cooke..... honestly this list could go on forever. Reach out if any of this interest you. Once I think we have a core group in communication I'll rent out some rehearsal space for us to practice & put together a set.
