GSACon is an amazing opportunity for student leaders from across the state of Iowa to gather and collaborate in an effort to supercharge their GSAs for the 2022-23 school year. Iowa Safe Schools invites students to join us at Lincoln High School on September 17th for workshops on topics such as: - Managing group conflict - Fundraising and event planning - Growing your membership numbers and maintaining them - The Queer College Experience - LGBTQ history and civil rights - Telling your story and amplify your voice - And more! Attendees can also look forward to various networking opportunities with local advocacy groups, secondary education institutions, and other student leaders from across Iowa. Advisors and parents can look forward to workshops specifically tailored to their experience as a supporting adult to LGBTQ students.
